cruise drink packages

Packages are sold on a per cruise basis and not a per day or any other basis. Pricing applies to each day of the cruise, except for disembarkation day. Once activated on board, packages cannot be terminated or refunded. Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin, travelling together and wishing to dine at the same table. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked. Packages are not obligatory for infants under three years of age. The following exclusions apply: tobacco, souvenir glasses, ice cream menu, retail items, minibar, room service and promotions. Other conditions & terms may apply. Easy Package

The Easy Package applies to drinks in the Easy Package menu available in all bars, buffets, main dining room, as well as private islands. Beverage gratuities are included. The Easy Package can be used for a maximum of 15 alcoholic beverages per day. Package is not applicable at specialty restaurants, Venchi 1878, Jean-Philippe Maury, the MSC Virtuosa Starship Club, MSC World Europa & America Coffee Emporium, or MSC World Europa Raj Polo Tea Room.

 

 

Easy Plus

The Easy Plus Package also includes a 10% discount on bottles of wine purchased on board. Beverage gratuities are included. The Easy Plus Package can be used for a maximum of 15 alcoholic beverages per day and can be used at all bars and dining venues on board and on private islands. Not applicable at Venchi 1878, Jean-Philippe Maury, or the MSC Virtuosa Starship Club.

 

 

Premium Extra

The Premium Extra Package also includes a 25% discount on bottles of wine and Champagne purchased on board. Beverage gratuities are included. The Premium Extra Package can be used for a maximum of 15 alcoholic beverages per day and can be used at all bars and dining venues on board and on private islands. Not applicable at Venchi 1878, Jean-Philippe Maury, or the MSC Virtuosa Starship Club.

 

Alcohol Free

The Alcohol-free Package can be used at all bars and in main dining room on board and on private islands. Beverage gratuities are included. Not applicable at specialty restaurants, Venchi 1878, Jean-Philippe Maury, or the MSC Virtuosa Starship Club

 

Minors

The Minors Package is applicable for minors (age respective of the country/operation area) who are part of a family purchasing an Adult Package. Package can be used at all bars and in main dining room on board and on private islands. Beverage gratuities are included. Not applicable at specialty restaurants, Venchi 1878, Jean-Philippe Maury, or the MSC Virtuosa Starship Club. 

Yes, drink packages are available on all MSC Cruises ships, however Asia and 3-nights sailings in the USA will not offer drink packages

New beverage packages will be introduced in April 2025. Guests who purchased a beverage package before December 18, 2024, for cruises sailing from April 2025 onwards, will continue to receive the service associated with their original package. Starting December 18, 2024, only the new beverage packages will be available for purchase for cruises sailing from April 2025 onwards.

Yes. All MSC Cruises' pre-paid and post-paid drink packages include gratuities.

Yes, the drink packages can be consumed on the Ocean Cay island and on Sir Bani Yas in Emirates. The island’s beverage offering may not include the full onboard beverage selection.

Please be advised that in respect to the Saudi Law, alcohol will not be served during the Calls in Saudi Arabian ports. Alcohol will be available to our guests when the ship sails in International Waters.

All packages can be used in Buffet Restaurants, main Restaurants and Bars. But only the following ones can also be used in the Specialty Restaurants:

Minors package can be consumed in specialty restaurants too if the minor’s family/group purchased the Easy Plus or Premium Extra packages.

Yes, the Minors Package must be purchased for all under age guests travelling with adults who purchase a beverage package. Applicable for minors aged 3-17 on European itineraries and 3-20 on North American and Caribbean itineraries.

Yes, in order for all guests to dine together at the restaurant, they must all subscribe to the same drinks package.
This means that if one guest chooses a certain drinks package, all other guests who wish to dine together with them must book the same type of drinks package (Easy, Premium, ...).
This ensures a consistent dining experience for all members of the group. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked.

Guests will be able to upgrade their beverage packages to Easy, Easy Plus and Premium Extra prior to embarkation.

The Premium Extra Package is included with the Yacht Club experience on all cruises. Please note: In line with our responsible drinking policies, a daily limit of 15 alcoholic beverages per guest applies both within and outside the exclusive MSC Yacht Club area.

Yes, all drink packages can be purchased before your cruise, with a discount of up to 15% compared to onboard prices. Discounts may vary based on seasonal offers or special promotions. Please note that for cruises to the Caribbean, North America, and Alaska, the Easy and Easy Plus packages are only available for pre-cruise purchase and cannot be bought onboard.

New all-inclusive packages will be available at the new pricing and conditions.

As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, we have updated our Beverage Package to include a maximum of 15 alcoholic drinks per day, per guest. This change is designed to promote responsible enjoyment and to enhance the quality of service. Once a guest has consumed 15 drinks within a 24hrs period, measured from 06:00-06:00, they will be able to purchase drinks at the full menu price.

No. Guests who purchase alcoholic all-inclusive beverage packages Easy, Easy Plus, or Premium Extra, and who want to enjoy
cocktails, spirits and/or wines by the glass that are not included in their package, will pay only the price difference between the
package allowance and the à la carte price of ordered drinks.
